| Licking stitches - what to do? Dash was spayed Friday, and I bought onsies for her to wear so she wouldn't bother her stitches. The onsies just don't work - neck is too big, she keeps stepping out of it... Should I use doggie diapers or regular baby diapers? Where can I find doggie diapers - walmart or target (we don't have a pet supply near us)? Thanks! |

| There are a couple of options. If you sew, you can stitch up the neck of the onesie to make it harder to slip out of. Or you can get the smaller size and add a piece in to make them long enough (this is what we had to do for Ellie). Or just use an e-collar which is the best bet now. Your vet should have them at the office.

| I have a soft e-collar that i could get out to you but it would take about 2 days to get to Ohio. If you need, I can get one in the mail today. You can click on my signature and see what my Kiss-E collars are.

| Love my softer collar from Bo. I agree with Ellie May, all you have to do to keep the onesie on is tack the head opening so it's smaller. I did that with practically all of Kaji's onesie clothing.

| You could just pull the neck opening a little tighter, enough so she can't step out, and fasten with a safety pin.

| Love my soft Kiss E-collars too!!!! I have every size on hand in case of future emergency/needs thanks to Bo! They work great and are so much better than those harder plastic cones.
