| how to give medication? For some strange reason, in Korea, medication comes in powder form. After getting spayed, Coco got a mixture of pain killer and antibiotics (so she won't get infections during healing) in a powder form and I'd mix it in can food and she'd eat that right up! Now that she's off of it and shes on skin medication for a week (also powder) she won't eat it when mixed with can food!!! I gave her the can food by itself and she would eat that but not canfood mixed with the medication. For the past two med time I just poured the powder into her mouth but I feel that its very mean. Anyone know other creative way that they feed their pet meds? (especially powder)?

| My Chloe takes a liquid medicine that she HATES- the vet said it is because it has a very strong taste- so the trick is to use a food that has a very strong odor to cover the meds. I use lots of different things, chicken baby food, sardines, tuna juice, canned tuna, homecooked fish, parm. cheese, etc.

| Korea doesn't sell plain yogurt... even their plain yogurt has a ton of sugar Its strange how she used to eat her meds with can food but with the switch of medication she won't I will try chicken hopefully she can't resist the taste of chicken to pass it up :P

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Can you get greenie's pill pockets? It's a treat that is hollow in the center. You place the meds inside. All of mine gobble these down....no more fighting to get them to take a pill or medicine they don't like.
