| Blue Buffalo recommendations I would like to stick with Blue Buffalo because it works well for Khloe, but she is getting bored of the puppy chicken and oatmeal. She is 14 months now, so is now a good time for her to start adult food? Any flavors of Blue Buffalo that work well for your Yorkies?

| We fed Blue Buffalo for awhile (probably around 5-6 months). We used the Adult Small Breed Chicken and Brown Rice formula. Sounds similar to Khloe's puppy food. We never tried any of the other BB formulas.

| I feed Sasha the BB Wilderness formulas. After every bag, I switch flavors so she doesn't become bored. She used to be extremely picky as a puppy when it came to kibble, but years ago ever since I switched her to BB Wilderness, she has eaten every meal with no problem. They have 3 flavors...chicken, duck and salmon...which I change flavors after every bag. She does so well on this food and you can see the results by just looking at her...super soft, shiny coat, clear eyes, perfect body structure and all around tons of energy. Wilderness is a grain-free kibble as well which is something else that I love. |

| Hello, Just wondering everytime you switch the flavors do you mix the food like you would switching from dog food brand? I know your still feeding the same brand but changing flavor does it ever upset her stomach? Quote:

I do not transition like most people do when it comes to changing foods because she never has an issue going between flavors with this food. Usually when I get down to the bottom of the bag, I go buy a new bag of food and dump what's left of the old bag into the new one. She's never had an issue transitioning to any food so I've usually always done it this way. Unless you know your dog, I would always transition like everyone recommends. | |
