My Reagan, who is 19 wks, got the last of her shots yesterday and she hated it. She screamed and wiggled so much. The vet said that since she moved so much that she would probably be sore and that I could give her half of a baby aspirin. She was sore yesterday and would yelp each time we tried to pick her up no matter how careful we were but by this morning she was doing great. I didn't end up giving her aspirin b/c she really seemed fine other than when you went to pick her up, she was wanting to play and was chasing the cats around. I would check with the vet if you haven't already just to make sure(and about how much to give her) but mine did say that it would be ok. Hope Pita gets to feeling better. Courtney

Thanx for the response Courtney, Pita got her shots at about 4:30 yesterday. She is actually feeling better as the day goes on so I guess we won't have to do the baby aspirin, but she was just like your dog, she didn't want to be touched or picked up but now she's better. Once again thank you for your input. It's nice to have some feedback!!

Jennifer, Don't worry, she will be back to normal so quickly. My pup Tini had a similar reaction to the Rabies shot. Within a day back to normal. She was so cute and cuddly while she didn't feel well. She ended up sleeping most of the day. Then the next day she was running around like normal. I bet by dinner time tonight Pita will be starting to get back to her ususal self!
