| It's definitely a yorkie thing and I'm definitely going to regret doing this - but my yorkie hasn't been eating much at all for over a week. I mistakenly offered her a new food, which gave her diarrhea (the drastic change) and have been offering her rice with a bit of food mixed in since then. She continues her fast. I've been getting the feeling she doesn't want to eat in her pen, where she has spent her whole puppyhood whenever she can't be supervised - it's a playpen with her crate in it, some toys, and water. So on day three of the current food strike, I just took her out of her pen and offered her the uneaten food - and she's eating. Arghhh!! What was I thinking?? We have four dogs and she can't eat elsewhere in the house as they'd eat all her chow. They all eat in separate areas now, with the old girl eating in the family room (where the yorkie brat is now eating) ... now I've done it. She's 7 months old. This is a *bad* time to cave to the will of the yorkie!! Thoughts?

| can you move the play pen from where it is to where she just ate? Maybe she just wants a change of scenery. |

| Hmm - not really. She ate with me on the couch, which would move her to the middle of the room. I've been thinking of moving the pen out to the garage (where my office is) and moving her into her crate in the same spot, but I'll put that off for now. I can turn it so she can see the rest of the room - I'll try that. Thanks for the idea!!
