| hair not growing or glowing My 1 1/2 yr. old Yorkie, Lily, doesn't have a very long or shiny coat. She just went through a dehydration crisis and spent overnight for IV fluids. I would like to find a good diet for her that gives her more moisture and a much better looking coat. She's not a show dog but I've seen many shows where young Yorkies have flowing, beautiful coats. I just want her hair to look better. My daughter has been feeding her PurinaOne small bites but she is on Hills I/D because of her dehydration. So I have a good chance to find and slowly change her to a good food. Any suggestions will be very appreciated. Canned? Mixing dry/canned? My other dogs have been on Wellness weight management but I can also slowly change them. I have a 9 yr. old Corgi, 6 yr. old Basset, and 4 yr. old Schnoodle. The Corgi and Basset are not picky eaters, but the Schoodle is. Thanks. And thanks for your help with her emergency. |

YT Addict | Try giving your baby some Omega-3 Fatty Acids supplements. They have them in chewable vitamin type things or what I give my furbaby is treats that you can get that say Omega-3 enhanced on the package. I give her 2 or 3 a day because she had a really dry coat and dry skin, now her skin and coat look great! It takes about 1 to 2 weeks for you to start seeing the effects, but I would go with the treats cuz they will like to eat that better than any vitamins...yucky! lol

| I've always had luck with The missing link and add a few drops salmon oil. All my dogs have great coats.
