| 4 year old yorkie LOOSE teeth?? Hello Everyone, So Snickers is turning 5 in July, I am usually very good at brushing his teeth and everything, before he did have a lot of plaque build up, I had his teeth professionally cleaned probably 5 or 6 months ago.. and have been trying to keep up with brushing daily, today while i was brushing his teeth i noticed two of his front teeth are LOOSE. is this normal? is it because he is getting older? has this happened to anyone else before?? i am freaking out! he doesnt seem to act like he is in pain or anything..but i'm still worried..? its like 12 am, i am gonna call the vet tomorrow.. but again. i am freaking out as always.

| Adult teeth should not be loose- I would have the vet check it out.

| Most likely something was injured or there is periodontal disease present. It can be taken care of. No need to panic. Just get to the vet. Probably looking at another dental..

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie has terrible teeth and had to have her first dental at 3 and lost a few canine's that were loose. The vet should be able to determine what is causing his teeth problems.

| hey guys, just wanted to update everyone here on snickers. Took him to the vet today, he's gonna have to pull out his two loose teeth.. they are also going to do xrays to make sure there isnt any thing under the teeth we are missing, and gonna have to do another cleaning.. looking at an almost 400 dollar bill, which i thought was going to be more! so thank goodness its not as much as i thought it was going to be.. hoping this will put snickers is a better mood too. and thank goodness yorkies are small!!!
