| A healthy dog should not need nutri-cal or any other vitamin supplement. If they are eating a balanced diet- that is all they need. Using nutri-cal on a regular basis can actually cause blood sugar issues.

| Who told you? I have Nutrical for Rosie that I keep on hand. I end up throwing it out because it expires before we use it. I only use it for emergencies.

| Oh my! I am so sorry they misinformed you. It happens!! I would only use it if you know he is low on sugar. I would discontinue using it daily. However, someone with more experience needs to jump in and say if it is ok to just stop giving it. I am sorry but I really don't know.

| Well any petstore that sells puppies probably knows nothing about dog care. What did your vet say about giving it every day?

Good idea! You might even call just to make sure on what you should do at this point. My vet is on speed dial!
