YT Addict | Doggie ice cream I was wondering if anyone treats their pups to the frozen treats they sell in the freezer section at the grocery store? Someone said her dog loves them but she has a Lab so I don't know if it would make Abby sick or not. I am sure it is probably not that healthy either. |

| I've never bought frozen treats, but I do put a little yogurt in a Kong & freeze it as a treat.

| Are you talking about Frosty Paws? They're not the greatest ingredients, and they're made by Purina, so I only feed them on special occasions. But yes I often put plain non fat yogurt in a Kong and freeze it! He loves that.

| I homemake my kiddos their ice-cream treats. Much cheaper minus the perservatives. Below are photos of the ones I made myself. Great for summer. |

| Frosty paws have been around for a very long time. I dont know the ingrediants or how good or bad they are for your dogs but I will not feed them to Callie because when I was growing up we had a lab mix with a steel stomach and frosty paws would make her throw up. I bought the freezy pups kit from bloomingtailsdogboutique.com and have been giving those to Callie when its really hot and she loves them so does Sammy my moms yorkie.

| Ellie had a Frosty Paw several years ago. Threw up many times. Looking back, I think it was her first bout of pancreatitis. The ingredients are gross. Won't be buying them again.
