| When to decrease my pup's feeds- he is 5mths old Hi all, Rudy is 5mths (5/25) I feed him now since we got him at 3mths at 6am when we wake 11am 3pm and 530 or 6pm before 7pm definitely otherwise he will have an accident at night. Now although I put his food down both water and dry food he only eats a good meal about one of these feeds. Some days 2 of these feedings. I was reading at about 6mths old you can decrease the feeds to 3 a day. What is your recommendation from past experience? I think he can go for 2-3 feeds a day. I do not know his weight his last weight was about 2#10 oz about a month and 1/2 ago i know he is growing i can see it. Thanks Denise |

| I don't really see a reason to feed 4x a day. I always free fed when he was a pup but Jackson was a big boy (already 6lbs by 12 weeks, lol).
