| Natures Logic Has anyone used Natures Logic? I have been feeding Rosie Instinct but today the lady told me Natures Logic was better. She gave me some samples. Said it was the only natural kibble dog food. Wondering how your babies did on it. Thanks!

| Ya know i have a sample bag of it that came with their treats I ordered from BarkingDeals. I haven't used it, but my dogs LOVED the treats and reading the ingredients, it's almost the same as the treats. I don't necessarily think it's "better" than NV, probably on the same scale though. The only thing about the Instinct is it's kind of high in fat, so maybe that's why the lady at the store said that, idk. I'm picky about the company as much as I am the ingredients and I personaly trust NV, don't know much about Nature's Logic - where it's made etc. Maybe someone else will though. What did she mean by it's the "only natural dog food", what's "natural" mean anyway and why is it the only one?

| This is what the flyer said she gave me "Nature's Logic is the only commercial pet food that derives adequacy in all product categories from whole natural foods. Nature's Logic is what consumers seeking a truly holistic and all natural pet food have been looking for. The entire line contains high levels of animal protein ingredients, are gluten free, low or no grain, and incorporate high levels of beneficial direct fed microbials and digestive enzymes."

| Something I heard awhile back is that Nature's Logic was started by the person (or one of the people) that originally formulated Nature's Variety. They are both in Lincoln, Nebraska and have very similar ingredients from what I can tell. |

(Mind you, this was from 2 different forums, I wasn't able to find any info regarding this on other than hearsay, but it was mentioned more than once) There is some controversy between these 2 companies. The nutritionalist who created Nature's Variety left when the company sold out. They also changed alot of their ingredients when they sold out. It is still a great food though. Now the man who created the original Nature's Variety started his own company called Nature's Logic. His philosophy is no synthetic vitamins. FYI, this guy developed Nature's Variety and then left to start Nature's Logic. I haven't found much difference in the food. He even brought over the key differentiators...the montmorillonite clay and the bio-coating. The only major difference I saw in the ingredients (NV Prairie vs. Nature's Logic kibble) is that the ONLY grain nature's logic uses is millet, supposably because it's the most digestable for a dog (the NV grain-free line uses tapioca to bind the kibble and their prairie line has a few different whole grains). As far as "the ONLY NATURAL pet food claim, it is the vitamins/minerals they're talking about - here's from their website: Nature's Logic is the first commercially prepared 100% natural pet food line that contains no added chemically synthesized supplemental nutrients in any product. All amino acids, vitamins and mineral nutrients present in Nature's Logic products come from 100% foods or naturally mined ingredients. I did read some really great testimonials and reviews on it while I was researching it too, so all in all, it looks like a wonderful food. I'm using NV now, but Alice is having some tummy troubles, doing well on their lamb canned and raw for now though, so my next step is to try the NV's new LID line of kibble. If that still gives her crazy poop I'll try the Nature's Logic sample I got with treats and see how she does

| I've bought two bags of the treats from barkingdeals.com and my dogs love them. On the last bag I bought, I got a sample of the food. I set it out and my dogs inhaled it. They currently get Innova Evo. I love that the treats come with coupons: Free 4lb bag of Nature's Logic dry food B2G2 free cans of wet food $4 off a $10 purchase

| It isn't the deal today, but I've seen it pop up numerous times. I've bought the treats twice. They've been going for $3.49 with free shipping and both times I've received the coupons listed. I subscribe to emails from them. When I check my emails at 715ish EST, if there is a new deal, it's already in my inbox.

| They email you the "deals" and they're only good for about 20 hours or while supplies last or something like that. Someone else here recommended subscribing to it and I've bought their "deal" about 3 times so far. Here's the link to sign up. www.barkingdeals.com/
