| Is my Yorkie sleepwalking? Hi guys, haven't been here in awhile... Taz has done this twice now and I swear he is sleepwalking! He is sound asleep then all of a sudden he gets up and paces doing a figure eight, stops, shivers, paces again. After a couple of minutes he snaps out of it and is back to himself. Has anyone else had any experiences like that?

| That sounds kinda scary, I would check with your vet. Maybe it is a behavior issue your baby has. Hope everything turns out ok.

| He is about 4 yrs old. I know he is demented, but I don't think it is dementia! He has always been a sound sleeper and when I was looking online, there are quite a few dogs that have strange behavior like that and then go back to sleep. Maybe he is having a nightmare, but I will call my vet. Thank you for responding so quickly.

| No, he will let us pet him. But he doesn't acknowledge us or respond to us. When he snaps out of it, he is back to normal. As I said it only lasts for a minute to two at the most.

| Try to catch the episode on video and then you can show the vet exactly what is happening. Good luck! |
