YT 3000 Club Member | what i do with new food for chester was put down a couple of new ones and see which one he liked the best, when you do the switch over do it over 7-10 days they have sensitive tummys, a quarter of the new food for a few days then half and then three quarters and then the whole thing. I would let him get settled in more since you just got him to try a different food, see what the other yt people have to suggest |

Do the switch gradualy when you choose which one you'll be using, especially since any of the high quality brands you choose will be much "richer" than the Iams and she'll need to get used to it. Also remember when you do switch, she'll need significantly less food of a good brand than she's been getting of the iams with all the fillers in it (check the package for puppy feeding amounts). My only other recommendation, when you do pick one, even if she seems to really like it, only buy the smallest bag that brand sells. They seem to like it better the more "fresh" it is and sometimes they can be picky and seem to love a food, then a week later refuse to eat it lol. Hopefully your little girl won't be picky for you, but I've had to really experiment with Alice and now I change what I give her each meal (all Nature's Variety brand, but I started rotating raw, kibble, canned), that's how I keep her interested and excited to eat
