Donating YT 500 Club Member | No More C.E.T chews for us! This happened to me this morning and it scared me to death. I have been giving the petite chews for about a month now and things have been just fine. Recently though, the last couple of weeks things have been a little off. She threw up a few weeks ago and I thought it was because she was eating to fast. Today was a different story... I gave her one while sitting with her on the couch, I always suppervise a chew and then after she was finished I had to run a errand so I put her in her crate. I came back and hour later and she was acting really strange. Her tail was between her legs and she begging to go outside. I took her on a small walk and all she wants to do is eat grass. Thats it... and I am talking she won't pay attention to a single thing. Not to mention her stomach was alot harder then usual. I called my vet immeditely when I got back to make an appointment. I spoke with my vet and she said to give her a child's dose of Mylcon gas drops for children. She said since they are rawhide based they sometimes swell in the stomach causing discomfort. Within 20 minutes she pooped and her stomach went back to normal and she is back to her normal self. So NO more chews for US!

| Boooo That stinks! I've never tried the CET chews before but the rawhide part would kind of scare me, I think. Poor Taycie! Give her kisses from Jackson I'm glad she's feeling better.

| Wow, that is scary. I don't use the CET chews, but we do use Petrodex Dental chews and I always buy the large ones for large breeds so they just chew on them and can't swallow any. I watch them always with them ( its mostly my little guy that likes them), and if they get soft enough to start pulling some off, I take it away. I had a scare with my male when he was younger and I was giving him the small ones for little breeds , he got a large wad of it stuck part way in his throat, luckily I was able to pull it out because it happened right in front of me, that's why I started getting the large and extra large ones. Glad to hear your baby is doing good and back to normal!

| I've used CET chews for years.....but, will not use the Petite ones....always the medium......the petite are just a bit too brittle for me and do scare me.

I used to give Marcel the petites...and then he almost died from choking on a piece - I had to give him rescue breathing and everything. It was so scary.

| We learn something new everyday...cut them in 1/2 or in 1/4.....works great.
