| Tiesto ate some onion- help I just read in one of the posts here that onion is harmful for dogs, and my little guy ate some yesteday (not much). I also read that the effects appear a few days later, what should I expect and how harmful it really is? should I be worried??? Thanks for your help! |

| This is deff something you need to contact your vet about ASAP. The signs may not be seen and damage to organs can be taking place from the toxins as we type. I would call an ER vet ASAP. |

| I have read the toxic amount is 5g/kg, but don't want to say that for sure since I don't have a toxicology book in front of me. Best to call your vet and see if they want to do a CBC.

| Thanks for your answers, I spoke to the vet he said that the amount Tiesto ate is probably too small to cause serious problems and that there is not really much we can do at this point as it already been digested. He said to watch him and see if any reaction appears, for now we are ok but im watching him closely. |
