| Betty Boop ate Light Yoplait - Harmful? Betty Boop got upon my table and got my leftover Light Yoplait Yogurt (Key Lime Pie). It has Aspartame in it. I'm wondering if this is harmful to her? She ate around 3 to 4 teaspoons at most. I did call the emergency vet and they said Aspartame is not toxic to dogs. BUT, that she might get an upset tummy and some diarrhea at the most. What are your thoughts? I could kick myself!!

| I agree with the emergency vet that your only concern would be an upset tummy and diarrhea.

| My experience and knowledge are limited compared to a lot of wonderful people here, but I really do think you are safe on this one.

| Oh Lila, bless your heart. You are really going through so much, but I would think Boop should be fine. Hug to you & Boop.

| I have to watch what I put on the table because Cerise will try to eat it when my back is turned. She does eat Redwood Hills Dairy plain goat yogurt.

| Thank you everyone for your posts. Boop is doing great. No vomiting or diarrhea! The little rascal even licked the spoon clean! She told me Key Lime was her favorite.

| It's Xylitol that is toxic to dogs. Best not to bring anything that contains Xylitol into your home. Popular sweetener is toxic for dogs - USATODAY.com |
