| Can anyone suggest a really flavorful dog food? Gizmo is one of the pickiest eaters! Can anyone suggest a really flavorful and good smelling dog food? He literallyt will walk up to his food bowl, smell it and almost jerk his head back as if he is turning his nose up to his food. He wont eat Wellness, NOW, or FROMM. He was eating Surf and Turf by FROMM for a little while. Should i just leave him on the same food so hes forced to eat it? I want him to enjoy it. I will throw chicken breast or a little bit of beef in his dry food to encourage him to eat which seems to help. He loves beef maybe i will try the FROMM Beef Frittata? |

| Veruca was a really picky eater... I went through Royal Canin yorkie puppy, Royal Canin yorkie, Great Life Buffalo, Great Life Chicken, and now Veruca eats 1/4c of Earling Brothers chicken dry kibble with 1/2 tsp of Evanger wet food (chicken, beef, buffalo, or rabbit depending what can is open) twice a day. She seems eager to eat this combination, I think the wet food, even though it's only 1/2 a tsp helps alot (I break it up into miniscule pieces on top of the dry food). I hope this helps... I also tried mixing in some chicken broth, but Veruca didn't like that. She also likes Stella & Chewy dried snacks and mini rawhide bones. |

| Have you tried Honest Kitchen? The Verve is the beef formula and is low in fat about 7%. Uni also loves the Preference, it's all veggie and you add your own fresh cooked meat, we add chicken breast. The preference is really good. It's dehydrated raw veggies, spinach, apples, berries, etc. I tried some while dry still, not bad

| Princess has been a very picky eater ever since i took her off her puppy food about 2 months ago or so. i wanted her on a high quality food so i tried Acana Wild Prairie...well she really didn't like that either. but just the other day, someone posted on here to add a little parmesan cheese to the kibble in order to entice the dog. omg! i tried it and Princess ate it ALL!!! i wish i knew who said this wonderful tip so i could give them a big ! so maybe you can try that, too, if you find a food you'd like your baby to eat.

| Personally I don't think RC is that good. It's expensive, more than $20 for a 3 lb bag, and it contains corn. Their prices have gone up considerably over recent years, and their meat content has gone down.

| Gizmo was on Royal Canine 33 when I got him and he refused to eat it. I'm looking for a dog food that is grain free. I agree Royal Canine isn't the best dog food out there. I like to use dogfodadviser to see whats in the dog food before I purchase it. Dogfoodadviser also rates the dog dogs 5 stars being a great dog food and 1 being bad. Obviously you have to make your own judgment when it comes to what you feed your dog. |

| I don't mean to be adverse but any food containing corn as a filler isn't good at all IMO also meat by products etc. Depends on what you are looking for, grainless, high protein, RAW, homemade etc here's a link of kibble ratings... Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost
