| puppy tests Hello everyone! Recently there have been a few threads on yorkies getting sick and liver shunts & etc. I haven't had a puppy since i was 9 years old so i didn't get any tests done. Coco comes from a reputable show breeder and she has gotten all her shots while with the breeder and ive been taking her for all her shots. she has rabies & antibody test left. After I got her the next day I took her to the vet for a meet & greet and the next steps. he recommends evolution topical gel & to come back next week for her last shots & 2 weeks later she will get her rabies & 2 weeks after she will get rabies antibody test. I didn't request for any tests. The vet checked her out & even took a pic inside of her ears and said she's healthy. She will go to the vet on April 1st. She's almost 4months. SHould I request for any genetic tests? if so, what are they called? silly mommy forgot to ask this question before coco came home *homer simpson's voice* D'oH
