| My yorkie puppy is being really Lazy My 7 months old yorkie is being really lazy. She doesnt eat a lot. Most of the time she just takes a nap. but if i play with her she starts to go wild and jumps around but most of the time she just does nothing. I take her to a walk every day and she runs a lot and goes wild and she is also scared of a lot of people too. |

| Has she been given a clean bill of health? If so, and you think she is not eating properly; you might think about a food change. What is she on now? IF she is healthy - then it just sounds like she needs more interaction to keep her active. Playtime, squeaky toys and balls; something to chew on; daily walks; all these will help to engage her in play and that will help to build her confidence as well. She is old enough to be around other people and dogs; I highly recommend a puppy class. Not too taxing; lots of playtime with other puppies.

| HI. I agree that food choice plays a big part in how much they eat. We just switched food and Buddy ate more than we've seen him eat in the 2 weeks we've had him. Also, Buddy has his active and sedative moments. I'd say he spends the majority of the time sleeping while we're at work. He works with us and we can find him in one of the offices napping or out on the stairs landing keeping guard. Definitely have her checked out if you are concerned. |

| My 2, 3 and 10 yr old girls will sleep and lay around ALL day...if I'm just hanging out....but like others have said...if her behavior is not the NORM...then you should get her checked out... And feeding premium food is very important to a happy healthy yorkie!! I've seen an amazing change in my 10 yr. old rescue since we've gotten her and been feeding her EVO...from when she first came to live with us!! She's much more active and she RUNS...we didn't know she could RUN the first few weeks we had her! Now we have a hard time catching her!
