| I looked at the site and read through the ingredients. The first ingredient on most of the treats is Wheat Flour. I usually try to stay away from feeding my yorkie wheat. |

| Most homemade dog treats do contain whole wheat flour and to my knowledge whole wheat flour is not harmful to dogs. Only those dogs who require a special glutten free diet should avoid wheat flour. On this forum there are theads that provide receipes for homemade dog treats that contain wheat flour. In my opinion whole wheat flour is fine and these treats would not be harmful and are perhaps even "Healthier" then some of the treats that can be purchased at your local grocery store that contain all kinds of chemicals and preservatives |

| In my limited experience and knowledge , I believe treats like these are fine every once in a great while, but I prefer to stick to simple, whole foods for extra special treats. If you plan on using the treats for training, I would choose something else.

| Hi Darlene68, I did some more research about your question since my earlier post and I found a website from another bakery which I think does a good job of answering your question. I hope you find it useful Are grains okay for my dog? – Barkin’ Doggie Biscuits|Barkin' Doggie Biscuits It's a bit long-winded, but very informative. In a nut shell cooked whole wheat is fine while uncooked is not. |

Since my last post I have purchased these treats at Colemans Food Centre and my yorkie Madison loves them. She sits in her proper way and begs mommy for more | |

| You're a funny one Darlene....About these treats I done a quick look through, I can't see it hurting the boys unless they are on special diets....I stick to a rule though....If it's not something I would eat myself my little guy isn't getting it either......lol
