| Dogswell treats NO longer made in China Dogswell has stopped sourcing to China and moved all their operations to the good ol' US of A! For those who don't know, they make chicken jerky treats, among others, and it was a big question as to why they got their chicken from China. They decided to do it in the US now because they got so much flack for it. This is from another forum and the person who posted it owns a pet store, so now they are going to beginning selling it again.

| Very interesting! I have tried to research any news coming from the Dogswell media room, but have found nothing yet. If you happen upon any articles, I would love to read them. Thanks for posting. |

| Finally got a reply, and they are still made in China'11 Hi , Our jerky treats, which include the MELLOW MUT® treats, are manufactured in China . I understand your concern however I can assure you that the DOGSWELL® manufacturing facilities meet the highest and most strict sanitary conditions. All of our co-packing plants have HACCP programs, have received high scores by independent third-party auditors, have strict raw ingredient standards and continuously check our products during processing and when they are finished to ensure they meet our high quality standards. Our wet food for dogs, our dry food for dogs and our biscuits are manufactured in the U.S. and our treats are manufactured in China. We regularly visit our manufacturing facilities to ensure the quality and safety of our products. Not only does DOGSWELL® closely monitor the manufacturing facilities, but they are also audited by third-party, U.S.-based audit companies. These companies make visits to the facilities, both planned and spontaneous, in order to ensure that the procedures are up to par from a very specific technical standpoint. Please know we certify that our products are safe and clean with regular testing and ensure that our products meet high quality standards. Along with an in-depth knowledge of our supply chain, our regular tests assure our customers that we are providing their pets with only the very best ingredients. Tests are conducted at independent, third-party, U.S. laboratories that follow FDA and APPA-approved methodology. We test product from each batch that is produced and have never had our results come back positive for ANY harmful ingredients such as cyanuric acid, melamine, e.coli and salmonella. We care deeply about all pets and would never put a product out that in any way would harm a pet as we feed all of these products to our own dogs here in the office. I have attached a Quality Assurance Brochure for you to look over. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great day! | Thanks for posting that! Is it okay if I cross-post that email on the forum I found the information on? I wonder why she (a pet store owner) was told that they aren't made in China?

| You know these are the treats that sent mine to vet and almost killed Jack. Josie pulled through quicker than Jack, he had to go the ER. There is thread somewhere I did in December. $2,000.00 is what it cost me to get them back right I will say it may have just been an over dose (BF gave too many in one day) but these are the ones they had. I never knew they were made in China till after this happened. |

| So I'm guessing the consensus is that "Do Not Buy Dogswell"? I finally found a dog food that Beckham can hold down without his poop being watery - and its made by Dogswell. Its fairly new and its called Nutrisca. It cotains no grains and is low in proteins and fats - so I thought I was in the clear with chosing a good dog food. Boy am I now rethinking.

| Not True My friend just purchased some Dogswell chicken jerky and it states on the back, "Made in China". Don't believe everything they write. There are also companies that state their product is made in the USA but they still use ingredients from over seas companies such as China. Quote:
