| Chronic Sinus Problem My Lizzie who is my oldest (14), has had Chronic Sinus Issues for almost a year now. She has been thru so many test's to see if she has a nasal tumor or blockage, foreign object, etc anything. Nothing has been found on any of these tests. She is on Benedryl daily, we just started her on nose drops with with a little bit of steriod in it, and have gone to giving her an antibiotic once a month for a week. I feel so bad for her, she has so much snot that she blows out her nose and she hates when ever I even go near her nose, you should me trying to put drops in her nose 2xday. Has any one else's baby had this problem?? Lizzie has been such a healthy girl, up until a year ago and then this started.

| I have a Wolfhound mix with Cronic Rhinitis caused by the Bordatella vaccine. By chance did your baby get the Bordatella vaccine just prior to the onset of this ? I have him on Ester-C now and it has cut the boogs way down. Last edited by lillymae; 01-13-2011 at 08:38 PM. |

She did get the Bordatella Vac about 3 months prior to all this starting. She is due in March for it again, so I'm not sure I will do it. I have to think on it, because she does go to the groomer.

| Did she get the vaccination through the nose ? If yes then she should NEVER have it again. This is damage caused by the vaccination and it will only do more damage if she has it this way again. |

| Has she ever had a Rhinoscopy ? My dog was put on antihistamine but it did not do any good and actually made matters worse. He now is taking Ester-C and is at least 65% better. |

Yes she has had all those tests done to her. I guess I can try some of the Ester-C and see what that does for. As to the Bordatella Vac, yes the one she had was teh nasal. She is due this year for the injectable one. My Vet's switch them up, one year nasal and the next injectable. So, should not be getting these at all now? I ask because she does go to the groomer.
