| cyst bump..turned into weird scab bumb? so i took snickers to the vet like two weeks ago, and hes had this cyst like bump (same size, shape hasnt changed in 2 years) and the vet said it was nothing to worry about if it hasnt change, and it doesnt seem to be bothering him. but....i was looking at it again today..and noticed that theres still a bump..but theres also a weird scab at the top..but nothing has came out, theres no pus or anything..its just the weird bump with the scab..and its a little purple. anyone have any ideas what i might be?!?! i might have to take this guy into the vet again.. |

| Could the bump have gotten scratched and that's why there's a scab on it? If it doesn't look better contact the vet. |

| Jack has the exact same thing. We first noticed a little bump on his back which would scab as well. A year later he developed about 2 more. They are pretty small and hard but every now and then they will scab. The vet said that they were cyst and really nothing to worry about unless they changed in size. Another thing he mentioned was that he could just be prone to cyst due to genetics. There is something that my husband bought that my neighbor swore worked for her Yorkie when she developed a little hard bump and it went away. I can't remember the name of it but we used it for Jack and it didn't work for him. It may or may not work for Snickers but if you’re interested in it I can get the name of the product we used.

| For sure! How often do you take Snickers to get his teeth cleaned? I thought about having his vet do it but didn't like the idea of putting him under so I opted for a dental hygienist. He sees her once a month and she does an amazing job. I also brush his teeth every day. I found out yesterday that when the dog is on medication they tend to develop more plaque as well. I didn’t know that! Happy cleanings to Snickers!

| Yes you might want to check at your local pet supply store. I take Jack to a small family owned pet supply store which offers teeth cleaning @ $29 a month. Well worth every penny!

| Yay I'm glad to hear that all went well and that Snickers had an ingrown rather than a cyst. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner! The name of the vitamin I was telling you about is Pawier. According to the website it's good for a verity of things such as; allergies, appetites, arthritis, cancer, black skin disease, general health and much more. Here's the website http://http://www.pawier.com/
