Which grains are ok for yorkies? I want to buy Princess some treats but I don't know which grains I should stay away from. I know anything with corn is bad, but what about wheat? Also, do you have any recommendations of treats for yorkies?

Sharing Treats... Chewie would be happy to share some of his favorite treats with Princess next time we see each other! Some of Chewie's favorites (healthy and unhealthy) Pupp-eroni Charlie Bears (which I store in a mason jar with Pupperoni so they taste and smell extra good) Greenies Bacon Goodies to Go from PetSmart Vitakraft Beef Sticks Rawhide Na-Chews Mmmmm, and anything else that we have stored up in the Mason Jars... He also snacks on baby carrots (when the mood strikes him)

Great Place... Forgot to post this - but for all of you CT people - there's a FABULOUS new pet store in Woodbury, CT! (Exit 15 off of Route 84) The store is called Woodbury Pet Commons and they carry almost all of the high end pet food you can imagine! They are fantastic - and are willing to supply you with samples to find the food that your Yorkie (or other pet) enjoys... They have a great selection of dog accessories, as well as a back area with sofas and cafe tables for dogs and owners to sit at and converse! There's a grooming section that just opened - they use the John Paul products - and there's even a Pet Bakery! Anyhow, they were really fantastic to Chewie, John, and I when we visited a few weeks ago. Their prices may not beat what we can get online - but the personal service and great selection can't be found anywhere in the area! If anyone wants more information let me know - I'll dig up the business card and contact information -Christina and Chewie
