Donating YT 500 Club Member | We love carrots and greenbeans! What else would she like? Taycie goes crazy for carrots! Its the funniest thing! I have been looking at giving more fresh fruits and veggies as treats because it seems not to upset her stomach as much. She has one touchy tummy and alot of dog treats have things Taycie's poor stomach can't tolerate. One being Flaxseed. Cleans her little system right out! What other fruits/veggies can I give? |

| How about some plain boiled potato, a little sliver of apple with no skin or plain macaroni with no sauce or anything on it. |

| Carrots and green beans are Levi's favorites too. He also loves apples (peeled and no seeds), blueberries, celery, and peas (I take the outer layer off first). I also occasionally use Gerber Graduates dried fruits, the banana and strawberry kind. He seems to prefer fresh fruits and veggies over most store-bought treats.

| Mine like green beans & carrots too. They will eat berries, but I have only given like one or maybe 2 at a time. I have tried pretty much all vegetables but they don't show as much interest in most as they do the grean beans & carrots. They do eat little pieces of peeled apple, two of them like bananas, and Annie will eat anything. She actually shared a salad with me the other day. I was careful to only give her pieces with no dressing, but she ate lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and green pepper. My other two came to see what she was getting but they had no interest when they sniffed. They also all like watermelon and will eat tiny pieces of cantalope and honeydew. My DIL is vegetaraian and feeds her dogs all sort of fruit and vegetables (along with a premium dog food too, so they are not vegetarians). They seem to love them all. Just be sure to not give onion, scallions, garlic, raisins, grapes, avocado, persimmons, or pits from peaches or plums. Other than that, I think most fruit and veggies are good to go. I would always start slow nd no more than one new food at a time so you can see if there is any negative reaction and know what caused it. Yorkies are so small, even a little food/snacks can ruin their appetite for their normal puppy food. I would be careful to limit enough to make sure they still got a days serving of premium food so you know they are getting a well balanced diet with plenty of protein.

| I am very picky about my babies treats as well, because a lot seem to bother them. I buy Yorkie Yummies from chattiesmom and they don't bother them at all and the LOVE them. I also use baby carrots a lot, I swear my one baby would pick a carrot over a steak any day I also use the gerber graduates, they are easy to travel with and the kiddos love them. Basically I just stick with REAL food or those treats made by YT members and I have been safe and the babies remain happy. |

| Mine eat all kinds of fruits and veggies. They currently are going nuts for little pieces of clementines and apples. They also like raw broccoli, bell peppers, celery, lettuce, cucumbers and lettuce and spinach. They even like parsley and pick it out of the garden.

| Ours love carrots too. THey will knock you down if you mention carrots getting to the kitchen. They do not like green beans for some reason. I give them apple which they love and they also like cottage cheese. |

| Ziva loves green beans but does better with them slightly cooked.I gave her a little sweet potato- it took her 3 days to accept it, now she gobbles it first thing. Katy- Thanks for the tip about "peeling" the peas-I'll try it next time, it's the only time I've seen her with a tummy ache. |
