| Natural Balance Dog Food Hi! I'm new on here, and I'd like some advice on my little girl's dog food. She is allergic to chicken. We've been on TONS of foods, and she's been on Natural Balance Potato and Duck for about 3 months now. She likes it a lot, but we've had a lot of problems lately with her eyes watering so bad and she is itching moderately (it's definitely been a lot worse before). Still, she itches. But mainly it's the eyes that are bothering me so bad. She takes children's liquid benadryl and even prescription allergy medication from her vet. Her allergies aren't terrible right now, but it's still frustrating that she's not her "best." I was thinking about switching her from Natural Balance to something like Wellness. I am aware of the premium dog food brands, but I'd just like your input on your experiences with allergies, dog food, etc. Also, I've heard before that it's a good idea to switch your dog's food every so often when they have allergies..is this true and how often is appropriate? Thank you! |
