| Eye Goop All of a Sudden Truffle is 10 years old and we have never had issues with her eyes discharging before. About 3 months ago, this started happening and it is almost black. At first, I thought it was dried blood when I was cleaning her eyes with a warm wet washcloth. Anyone know of why this would start all of a sudden? Thanks for the help. |

| If it is reddish or dark colored, it is probably just an eye infection and you need to go see the vet. They can give you eye drops which will get rid of it.

| No change in diet. But, I did notice this started happening the day after I had her groomed. It was like she had an eye infection in one eye and I found short hair from the trimmer under her eyelid. Did an eyewash a couple of times each day and took her to the vet. He said all looked well. It is happening with both eyes. |
