| Help... don't know why Harley is making noises...hiccups? Hey. So I think he may have the hiccups. I don't know. can dogs get the hiccups. When he was a baby he had a similar incident for like 5 minutes then he was fine. It's not from what I can tell a reverse sneeze, and he's not labouring, which is why I figured I'd ask on here rather than call the vet. He's running around with toys and jumping. Just every few breaths he's shakes a bit and squeaks like a hiccup (it's an outward noise not inwards like a reverse sneeze). some are worse sounding sort of like a honk, but that's when he has toys in his mouth, oh Harley, way to give me a headache this morning... lol. Any remedies to help get rid of them?

| When Cooper has toys in his mouth he snorts from the excitement. Also, my dog Max gets hiccups and shakes a little bit while he's hiccupping. It lasts about 30 seconds to a minute. I think I remember reading a thread where someone gently blew into their Yorkie's nose to stop the reverse sneezing, if that's what it is. It could be.

| Levi gets hiccups too, but they have never really been loud. I could mostly just see his little chest skip and hear a faint hiccup.
