YT Addict | Bil-Jac treats Hi everyone ! ! ! Just wondering if any of you have tried the Bil-Jac line of training treats for dogs! i sat and realized yesterday that Hazel doesn't have any REALLY MOUTH WATERING YUMMY treats . . . Just some puppy biscuits, that are crunchy and dry. So i went to smart and got her 4 bags of treats being that they are all about 2 dollars each on sale. 2 of which was Bil-Jac "Little-Jacs" and "yapple-nanas". i've been looking at this brand for months now, and figured i'd finally give it a try. any one have anything bad or good to say about it? |

| I was looking at these just a couple days ago and almost got them. The package I was looking at had by-products in it though, so I just bought the Zukes. |

| I give my girls the Bil-Jac Little Jacs and they love them...there just treats not meals so why not...but I also fed Eukanuba...I know its not the best food but its what my breeder had both my girls on and I just stuck with it...they love it and my Bailey is almost 15 years old and still runs around like she is a young pup, she keeps up with my 2 yr old Yorkie lol...if your baby likes it and you don't mind giving it I don't see why not? its your choice.

| I buy Bil Jac treats occasionally, I know they're not healthy but I feel he deserves a yummy treat every now and then! He eats healthy most of the time. Plus, I love that they are perfect for training (size-wise) and he obviously LOVES them. Also, they are cheap! I do buy Zuke's too but lately Jackson has gotten picky with those and doesn't seem too interested- so not a great motivator for training! Here's some more great options for training treats, some of them being healthy, some being okay, and some being bad. Nature's Recipe Training Treats - Treats & Biscuits - Dog - PetSmart Pet Botanics Training Reward Treats - Treats & Biscuits - Dog - PetSmart Blue Buffalo Blue Bits Natural Soft-Moist Training Treats - Treats & Biscuits - Dog - PetSmart Crazy Pet Train-Me Training Reward Dog Treats at PETCO Wellness Just for Puppy Treats at PETCO Buddy Biscuits Natural Soft & Chewy Dog Treats at PETCO Lately, I've been using these "Real Meat" brand treats. They are 95 percent meat. Amazon.com: Real Meat Venison Jerky Dog Treats:... Jackson goes crazy for them and they have all kinds of different flavors. I typically try to stick to mostly all meat treats or those freeze-dried liver type treats.

YT Addict | britster THANK you for that! i didn't know that BB had soft treats! she will most definitely be getting these! but i did open it and give her a little of both as we did some training outside... she definitely as suspected LOVES them. ahahhahaha. i also got her some cesar soft bits in grilled chicken flavor. she only had a few of these but seems to like them also. i looked on the packaging and i didn't see anything about by-products in it. EWIEEE!! LIVER! ahahha i personally HATE liver, or meat for that matter... but yeah, the bil-jac treats both have chicken liver in them to my dismay... BUT as long as my baby likes them, i guess they'll have to stay. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | They are very high in fat and gave Rhett diarrhea. We've switched over to the BB soft treats for special occasions, but frozen green beans and carrots are still their absolute favorites.

| We tried Bil jac and our picky dog loved it. But we didnt use it for long because it didnt seem healthy. We once left the Bil jac in the car for a week without taking it out. Our whole car smelled like sweetness and molasses. We got scared that it might have too much sugar so we tossed it. We also tried the soft Bil jac liver treat but tossed that too after the sugary smell incident, just didn't feel very good about it. Treatswise, there's a yt seller chattiesmom who sells the harnesses. She makes something called yorkie yummies that our little guy likes and it's small and convenient for training. We're also trying the stella and chewys treats. Theyre not as convenient cause they crumble but he sure doeslove them. |

| Kasha LOVES bill jacs! I used them in training (broken in half and mixed with kibble as a random reward) and give 1/2 of the p'nut butter one when she makes #1. Kasha also eats SO healthy (her 2nd fave treat is peas lol) I figure I eat dessert why shouldn't she?

| I give Zoey Bil Jacs and she loves them. They are great for training purposes. I give her one or two (the tiny ones) when she does something that I wanted her to do -- like coming when I call. Cherie

| I use to use Bil-Jac's but they caused Mocha to itch. He loved them, but he itched something awful. If I remember correctly they have corn and wheat in them. I use Wellness Just For Puppy Treats or Wellness Wellbites (soft and Chewy) Turkey and Duck flavor. These have become Mocha's new favorite! |
