| What should I ask before Dental cleaning Daisy is 2 1/5 yrs old and the vet has suggested a dental cleaning. What are the questions I should ask regarding this. She has said to do pre dental blood work but what else should I know. Thanks for any info. |

| ask what type of anesthesia is used. I think it's isofluorine that is what's recommended. also wouldn't hurt to have her make sure all the baby teeth are gone. sometimes they can be stubborn and retain them. |

| Yorkie teeth cleaning Be very carefull what Vet you use to clean your Yorkies Teeth. I had my 3 lb Yorkies teeth cleaned and the Vet broke her jaw. He said she had some problems with her teeth.. So now she has a broken jaw to go along with her teeth problems, This Yorkie is 9 yrs okd. She has to be on meds for 30 days. This is a very sweet Yorkie. I have looked it up on the computer and this does happen quite often with the tiny ones. |

The smaller yorkies are the ones that really need dentals from an early age...actually most yorkies do, but the smaller they are the worse their teeth are .. they have such tiny mouths. I am sorry this happened to your baby. Hope she will be ok.
