| Question about Fleas... I decided not to breed Darcy as I'm concerned I'm too uneducated and all... he he... thank you all for helping me make that decision. In order to satisfy my grandpa's desire for a little dog I decided to buy him a Shih Ztu. They have an undercoat and he lives where it gets pretty cold and I was concerned about him having a yorkie and keeping one warm. Anyway, I've had this little puppy almost a week and will have him another week before I can take the trip up to Grandpas. My concern that I need your help on is fleas. I've never had a problem with fleas on Darcy and this little guy had a bunch. I bought him from a friend that is a new breeder and he's a great dog, very active and lovable so I'm not upset with her, she's just got to deal with each problem as it arises you know. Anyway, Sammy's ears look like they have sores in them from him scratching them. I have already knocked down the flea population substantially but any suggestions on getting rid of them completely before we head north and what can I do to soothe his poor ears? Not a yorkie question, but my trusted group of advisors always have great advice for me :-)

| I'm not sure... I thought he was 2 months old but I got his papers today and he's actually 3 1/2 months old... I am going to try the dawn and see if that helps. Thanks :-)
