| How FAR do you walk? Just curious, how far (on average) do you walk your babies every day? We go just a little less than a mile. (Anonymous votes) Last edited by AMD; 09-22-2010 at 03:33 PM. |

| Fido and I walk for about 30 minutes up to 1 hour a day, sometimes up to 2 hours but we have been lazy lately and just walk 20-30 minutes i dont know how many miles that is, i just walk at normal speed. Sometimes we also go for a bikeride (or a bike run for him, he runs while i bike), and sometimes i let him run free but not often. He doesnt get as much excercise in the winter when its cold and snow, he doesnt have a jacket that fits after i started to give him another type of dog kibble and he got so fat of it, he's in a diet now.

| Don't know why it tells me I can't vote in this poll... but we (me, 2 Kerry Blue Terriers, and Dante, the Biewer Terrier) walk about 4 miles each morning. Hot, cold, rain, snow... we walk. It's good for us. |

| This time of year, less than a mile. The heat and humidity is just too much. Once it cools off we will walk about 2 miles each evening.

| It has been too hot to walk lately in Kentucky, but in cooler weather, Piccolo can go about a mile. Then I pick her up and carry her, so Vivi can walk a longer distance.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ROTFL....love it! We try to walk at least one mile and usually do walk 1 1/2, but never quite up to 2 miles. Ruby, my tiny girl usually walks about a block and then I can't go any slower and end up carrying her♥.

| It all depends really. Sometimes we will walk for 4 miles, others just 1/2 mile. I would say on average he walks about 35 mins. per day. But I have to drive up the street into a neighborhood for an 'official' walk (since we live on 3 acres, with farmland behind us) and no sidewalks. He also gets a nice bike ride once a week (where he runs beside me, while I bike, or rollerblade). He gets 2-3 visits to the dog park per week where he can often run for 2 hours. He gets a few visits to my dads house a week where, again, he runs ALOT with their other dogs out in the yard. Summertime is loads of swimming. His exercise usually winds up being more running free than our daily walks.

| If it is cool enough, we can walk two miles. If it is too warm, usually one mile. When it is too warm to go the two miles, we often take two walks, so I suppose we get in our two miles that way.

Usually in the morning before work we walk a few blocks till he does his stuff and back home. Right now he has a bad limp on the back leg I think he hurt it jumping up on the bed. |
