| raw vegetables I got some advise from a YT'er the other day that I feed too much kibble. I don't want to over feed so I checked the bag and I was feeding too much. I free feed so wasn't sure how to get Daisy to eat less. I decided to start giving her a few snacks throughout the day. So far she gets 1 baby carrot for breakfast and 1 for dinner. I've only been doing this for two days but she seems to love the carrots. I don't want her to get tired of carrots every day. Does anyone else use raw veggies as treats? If so, which ones? Thanks. |

| I give raw veggies and raw fruit as treats to Levi a few times a week. He loves chopped pieces of carrots (probably his favorite!), green beans (I buy frozen, then thaw a few at a time), cucumber, and celery. He loves fruits too - bits of apple (no skin, no seeds) and blueberries especially. He pretty much likes any fruit or vegetable I will let him try...I just always double-check and make sure it is on the "safe" list for dogs!

| We feed raw veggies as snacks all the time and our dogs love them. They love broccoli, spinach, celery, zucchini, bell peppers, carrots, and green beans. They will eat and tolerate all of these raw. I buy a lot of frozen organic veggies so I usually do steam them or cook lightly and then just store in tupperware in the fridge.
