Donating YT 500 Club Member | Artemis Fresh Puppy Food... what do you think? I just was recently sent a TON of samples and I am curious...Does anyone feed this? I currently have her on Blue Buffalo which we like but I was really curious about this brand?... and where do you find it? Can you only order online? |

| Ingredient-wise, looks very good to me! Dog Food Reviews - Artemis Fresh Mix Small Breed Puppy - Powered by ReviewPost Here's some of the first ingredients: Chicken, Chicken Meal, Turkey, Fish Meal, Barley, Brown Rice, Rice, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Oatmeal, Millet, Potatoes, Egg Product, Tomato Pomace, Duck, Salmon, Flaxseed, Favor Enhancer, Salmon Oil (A Source of DHA), If I wasn't feeding grain-free, this is how I'd want my grain inclusive food to look. Meat content is great, with the first FOUR ingredients being meat, and it's also followed later on by 3 other meats. It is manufactured by Diamond Food Plant so as long as you are okay with that, I'd say this is a great food!

| I fed Artemis to my two yorkies for awhile, and they loved it and did very well on it. Then came the dog food recalls, and since Diamond was involved, I stopped buying Artemis. I could not find it at my local Pet Shop, so I ordered it online. (Petfooddirect carries it). My personal feeling is that I've lost confidence in Diamond, and won't feed foods that are manufactured at their plants. It's not worth the risk. (just my opinion, of course).

| A local pet store has given me samples of Artemis for Levi a couple of times. I've fed the samples, and he liked them well enough - but as someone mentioned earlier, the Diamond affiliation makes me a little hesitant, so it's nothing I'd purchase for him regularly. I did love the tiny kibble size though! Levi eats Orijen now, and the kibble size is huge compared to Artemis.
