| My baby has fleas help!!!! About a week ago i noticed Keno scratching himself a lot, then the other day i noticed a flea on his stomach. what are some good ways to get rid of these pesky things, ive been thinking of getting him advantex or frontline, but i wonder if there is a natural remedy to get rid of them, i've heard those could have side effects, any advice would be great thanks! |

| I use wondercide, and you can read all about it on my website (listed below)...The secret is to treat the pup/home/yard all at the same time, whatever you decide to use...Also, you can plug in "holistic (or natural) flea treatments" in a search engine, and find alternative ways to treat fleas...I haven't used any topicals, at all, this summer, and have had no fleas! I think that we had several freezes, last winter, down here in S.E.Texas really helped matters too...btw, I treat my yard, once a month w/the eco treatment wondercide...kills lots of other harmful bugs too, but not the good ones? I don't know how that works, but it really does! |

| We have never had fleas until my crew picked up fleas from the little stray we kept here a few weeks ago but I got rid of them with this routine: Bathed all 3 of them in Palmolive dishsoap...the green, original one...and picked off all the fleas I could see. I then spritzed them with essential oils I got from my vet once they were dry. I washed all of their beds, blankets and rugs and then spritzed them with the essential oils. We sprayed the yard with Vet's Best Natural formula flea and tick spray...it hooks to the end of the hose and smells like cloves. We had to bathe each of the dogs twice but the fleas are gone and my babies are happy and itch free once again |

| We chose to use Frontline for our girls and couldn't be happier. I was worried about side effects too...so only used a half dose the first time just in case. Our problems are more due to ticks in this area but we like the protection against fleas as well. |

| I use K9 Advantix on my boys. It really does seem to make a difference! Good luck! |

| I use internal flea meds. called Comfortis and just love it. I give one pill a month. You have to get it from a vet. and they will give you the correct pill size according to the dogs weight. |

| I use K9 Advantix and I think it is the best. I have been unsuccessful with some of the others. I have heard that Joy Dishwashing soap will get rid of them too. Never tried it but my friend swears by it.

| We just had a bout of fleas too. Kona's not on advantix or anything like that because of health concerns too. We got rid of them in a day. It was a pain and pretty pricey but he's been flea-free since: 1. Got dawn dish soap and bathed him. Lathered him good with it. We did this twice because found more fleas on him after doing this. 2. Got organic neem flea dip from natural petstore. Poured it on him after his bath. 3. Sprayed on flea spray from natural petstore. Sprayed his underbelly, fur, paws, have been spraying him daily just in case. 4. Washed all our clothes, bags, dog bed at the laundry mat since we were getting bit too. 5. Showered after each time we found fleas in him and bathed him. 6. Got our car washed and car mats shampooed. Luckily we were travelling so we didn't have to deal with fleas In our home but that's how we got rid of them. Wish you luck, they're nasty little things. | I use Revolution. Buddy hasn't had any fleas, and no more ticks since we started him on it. |
