Could he be teething again? Gatsby is 1yr and 8 months old i thought i knew knew all the stuff i needed to know about development but it seems i may be wrong
about 2 weeks ago Gatsby chewed up a water-bottle this was very strange because he has never been a big chewer,i thought he was mad at me because i did not take him for a walk that day so i cleaned up the mess and let it go. then the next day after his walk he was caught chewing on a laundry basket this time he was scolded and had to sleep in his crate (because i was afraid he would chew on something and choke while i slept). this behavior has been going on for two weeks and yesterday i mentioned it to some family and they told me he could be teething again ! i called my vet but she was not in and the vet tech said it may be because the tarter on his teeth is begging to hurt his gums. this is not possible his teeth are very very clean i brush then every night and he gets oral care in his water and twice a week i have started giving him science diet oral care teeth cleaning kibble (as a treat )
he has no double teeth and his canines are all four adult teeth his teeth are very clean i looked in his mouth and i could not see any reddness or or a tooth that looked damaged. Could someone shed some light on this please. Thank you.
