| Some Yorkie owners (and probably other breeds) seem to have a problem with their dogs eating their own poop. and why wouldnt they? Its just (for the most part) food! thankfully, Hammer likes to only PLAY with my mom's cats' poop. I guess just supervise the little one? |

| My puppies ate some stay cat poop and all got a parasite and had to be treated at the vets. I know it was a stay because I've asked all my neighbor if they know who it belongs to and no one know and it poops on my deck and teases my dogs almost every day and they love barking at it. But it made my tiny one very very illness and it took 3 medication and over a week for her to get better. I now go out before they do and clean up it mess before I let them out. |

| If it's a stray cat can't you call the animals control?? Also, if it's a stray it probly hasn't had any vaccinations so it could get your baby sick! I gave heard that cat poop is super yummy to dogs! Totally nasty huh! Good luck!

| I understand what you are going through. Both Bailey (yorkie) and Boomer (shiz Tuz) eat our cats poop. The only thing we do is make sure that we clean it out as soon as Sasha (cat) poops. Boomer eats his and Bailey's poop as well. It is a big problem.

| It was my oldest one that started with just diarrhea and then it seemed to spread quickly to all 4 of my dogs and they all had to be treated. My tiny one was only about a pound when she started runny mucus diarrhea that turned to water it got so bad plus an upset stomach. She lost a bit a weight I was worried sick and thought I'd loss her. She had to get fluid under skin because she was so dehydrated. My vet said all dogs love cat poop because it is full of protein yucky I just can't make myself call the dog catcher.I've tried to catch it so I can take it to the humane Society but so far no luck. |

| You also have to watch out for Raccoon poo! Raccoon almost always carry parasites. Made my DIL's Chi horribly ill (bloody diarrhea and vomiting). Thankfully Tensley doesn't eat poo. Unfortunately, Cheeky thinks the kitty litter box is his personal "Dessert" bar.

No Longer a Member | Yep, Rizzo goes after anything cat related when at my bf's house, so I have to put up the kitty food and put a gate up at his bathroom door to deter Rizzo. I swear, that cat food is like crack, I keep it from his as much as possible but if I don't think about it like in the mornings and just let him run and play with the kitty sure enough when he dissappears I can find him over the cat food just munching away. He know's he is in trouble as soon as he hears my foot steps though and tries to play it off like he was just getting some water...He is such a naughty puppy. Luckily, no stray cats wander into the yard so I don't have to worry about him eating the outside kitty poos, and my litter box is set up in a box that Riz can't jump into so that deters him. |
