| Bully stick breath! After reading some good reviews I went out and got my boy a Bully Stick! Just as everyone said, he LOVED it . . . But we're gagging over his breath! Please tell me we're not alone here! Is there any solution to it? I love my boy but his breath is making his kisses unbearable! |

| I've never hear of a Bully Stick, but I feed my boy Trippet with his kibble and it smells ROTTEN! I found a doggie tooth paste that smells barable that Harley likes, he actually thinks I'm treating him when I give it to him... and I brush his teeth whenever I find his breath stinks... at first it was every day, now I'm down to about every other day. I also found some other great treats that offset the bad breath too. |

| Do you mind telling me what the toothpaste is? Is it available in stores or online? Thanks! |

| I had the bully stick breath problem for awhile too - until I switched brands. The bully sticks sold at petsmart and petco always smelled terrible and made my dog's breath terrible too. I'd suggest looking into other brands of bully sticks. I found a great local pet store and they sell better quality bully sticks that actually don't smell bad, and my pup loves them just as much as the stinky ones

| You have to be careful buying bully sticks in stores. If they're not sealed in plastic they could be covered in bacteria. And yes, those do usually have a terrible smell. I buy mine from two wonderful YT vendors - Baxtersmommy and AMD - you can find their threads in the Products for Sale section. The bullies they smell don't have much odor.

It's a white and blue bottle, and I think it comes with a little blue finger brush and a blue and white tooth brush... it would be in the pet section at Walmart. Don't know what its called though. I just put a pea size glob on my finger, make him sit, and as he starts to lick it I massage his teeth and gums with it... he'll sit for about a 10 second teeth brushing... | |

| I think it all depends on which bully sticks you purchase. A lot of the ones from pet stores (like Petco and Petsmart) are really stinky. YT member AMD sells some great bullies that have no odor. Here is her website: www.westbrookdog.com.

Yup, both of those vendors are awesome. Jackson does not have bully stick breath after theirs. However, after the ones at the store, phewww! Smelly!

| I got mine at a little independent pet shot, not a chain like petsmart or petco. It wasn't wrapped in anything, they were all loose with just a tag on them. Is it bad that they were not wrapped in plastic (aside from the odor)? Should I take it away from Nikko? Thank you all for the suggestions also, I will have to look into these for my next purchase! |
