| Shivering during heat cycle normal? For the past couple of days, my little 10 months old is showing signs of her first heat. She has not been fixed yet. She is acting a bit strange and is very clingy to me. Her vulva is swollen and she is liking it constantly. What is concerning to me is that she seems to be trembling or shivering and I'm not sure if it's normal or not. She also vomited some of her food this afternoon but other than that she's been eating, drinking and going the bathroom normally. |

| My girl used to do this weird teeth chattering thing. I would be a bit concerned about her vomitting, keep an eye on that. Is she eating ok? Make sure she isn't getting hypoglycemic.

| She eating less but she's eating. How can I make the difference between the hypoglycemic shivering and the heat cycle shivering. Are there any other hypoglycemic signs to look out for? Is the shivering during the heat cycle normal? Thank you in advance. |

| You may want to check her temperature. Maybe she has something else going on and it is a coincidence that it is happening when she just happens to be coming into heat.
