| I hope I found the answer for my picky eater!!! Hi everyone, After a few frustrating months, I hope I have finally found a food that allie actually gets excited about eating. When I picked her up from daycare last saturday, the lady gave me all of her un-eaten food back. I said yes I know she is sooo picky, its driving me crazy! She never was crazy about dry kibble, I've tried royal canin, acana, blue buffalo, wellness... along with mixing in a spoon of wet puppy food, cottage cheese, plain yogurt...it seemed she ate only cause she had no choice not because she liked any of them, most of the time I ended up throwing plates & plates of untouched food away because she would not touch it and then it was old and gross. The lady at the daycare suggested raw food. I was hesitant , my main concern is what if there is a recall or a bad batch and she could get really sick. She gave me a free same starter pack of primal raw and told me to try it. What could I lose..I've returned so many bags of kibble to pet smart & petco they probably were going to start telling me sorry no returns for you! We got back from a few days in Orlando, I left her with my mom and didn't want to start anything new until we got back, Well..... I mixed one little thawed nugget last night and mixed it with her royal canin puppy (I know not the best but didn't want to change everything at once). She DEVOURED it!! And went back and was licking the plate!!! I mixed it again this morning & this evening and she did it again. She never eats like that in the am. I'm sooo happy that she likes it! Other than general sanitary precautions & following the thawing directions, is there anything else I need to be aware of??? Am I giving her enough or too much? She weighs 7.5 @ 10 months and I give her 1/4 cup of kibble & 1 nugget 2x per day. In the starter pack there was chicken, beef, duck,& lamb. She finished the chicken and I have the duck thawing in the fridge for tomorrow. Should I stick with one flavor or is it ok to switch it up?? Sorry for the long post, but I know you guys know A LOT more about this stuff than I do and I only want to do what's best for allie. Thanks so much for listening and look forward to any feedback!
