| my Maddie would say "you don't" sorry, I'm of no help... she absolutely refuses to let me. I don't know how a 7lb furball can turn into the tazmanian devil with the strength of superman whenever I try to brush her teeth or even try to put Petzlife gel in her mouth! When she is in my lap, I can look at her teeth, open her mouth, move her lips around, but let her sense I have something to put in her mouth and all bets are off! the closest I have come is putting the CET toothpaste on a child's toothbrush and holding the toothbrush while she "chews" on it to get to the toothpaste. I squirt it really deep into the bristles so she has to work on it and I move the toothbrush around to different angles. She is 2 1/2 now and I have tried brushing her teeth since she was a baby.. she has never accepted it. |

| Try dirt flavored Well Dinky tries eat sticks, leaves, mulch, dirt and, worst of all, bird poop. I hope he doesn't mind something minty fresh. I haven't tried yet, just trying to figure out what to do. He likes his bath, getting brushed, and certainly lets me pull dirt etc. out of his mouth, so maybe he'll be good with the toothbrush. |

| I think some are ok with it and some are NOT. Kobe is NOT, he is 8 lbs and its wrestling match to brush his teeth (kinda like my son LOL). Good luck, try to make it a fun/good experience that might help.

| Jackson does NOT like his teeth brushed. I've found the easiest way is to do it while he's in the bath. I wash him, etc first and then wrap him up tight in a towel and pretty much force him to deal with it, LOL. I've tried the calm, go-slow method to get him used to it but he just doesn't like it. I'll say though he's gotten better with dealing with it and it's currently done about 1x a week. We're aiming for 2-3x a week though. His teeth, luckily, are not bad at 1.5yrs old.
