Donating YT 500 Club Member | Gerber Graduates yogurt melts Can anyone tell me if it would be safe to give these to Bridget. My grandson is here and eats these while in his highchair - of course he drops some on the floor. Bridget - like the vaccum cleaner she is - ate one - and I swear she would do flips in the air for another. Ingredients are: cultured reduced fat milk, sugar, strawberry puree, nonfat ddry milk, tapioca starch, gelatin, natural strawberry flavor. I don't mean for a regular diet....lol but as a treat or reward. They are about the size of a cheerio - and 1/4 cup is about 30 calories. Any thoughts????

| Holly has always gotten a cheerio as a reward, and has never had a problem, so I don't see why yogurt melts wouldn't hurt. I would just look out for any odd behavior afterward or see if it was digested right (i.e. constipation, diarrhea ). You could always ask your vet too, but I'm sure they're not for a regular diet like you said. I'm new to the Yorkie world though, so someone else might have a completely different opinion. |

| Hmm Dogs arent suppose to have cows milk per digestion problems.......being that the yogurt graduates are so small a few here and there probably wouldnt hurt. I would call the vet just to be sure.

| I don't think it'd be a problem. Jackson gets plain non fat yogurt in his Kong. They sell doggie Yogurt Drops at the pet store, too.

| I used to give those to my dogs as treats and they were fine, never a problem. One of my girls supposedly has a food allergy (?) so I don't give treats anymore. When I asked the vet if I could give cherios, he said that would be the worst thing to give

| They would be fine as a treat depending on what each dog's stomach can handle.
