| Pray, Pray, and Pray some more My girls are being spayed and chipped tomorrow. I am so nervous. I am *trying* to be calm and "normal" around them so they don't sense anything. I am not to worried about Cooper but Maddie is such a mommy's girl. What is she gonna think when I leave her? She has only stayed away from home without me one time, and that was with my parents. Is she ever gonna forgive me??? Then, there are all the "What if's?" running through my mind. I do get to bring them home tomorrow, but the hours in between are gonna keep me nutso. I know thousand's of pups do this everyday, but these are MY pups. We just need your prayers. Thanks ya'll. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I"ll be thinking about them tomorrow! I know its hard to leave them but its for the best. I'm sure you've done everything possible to prepare for them being put under anesthesia and you are a great mommy. Don't worry about her not forgiving you. believe me, when she sees you in the afternoon coming to her rescue she is gonna be SO happy

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Sending prayers your way - I went through it a little while ago and I think it was harder on me than on Bridget - I did send an old sweater (with no buttons of course) that I wore around the house the day before so that she's could "smell" me when she woke up. I don't know if it helped her or not - but it helped me to think that it was helping.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Praying everything goes fine. It is always so hard on us when they go in. My vet calls me herself as soon as they are in recovery and does their surgery first thing.

| Don't worry, everything will be fine. After all, she'll be asleep most of the time and then coming out of it just before you pick her up. When you do get her she'll be so excited to see you that she'll forget you even left her. That's how my two were when I took them in. Then we came home and had a nice relaxing evening...I even made them some chicken.

| Amanda, will be sending good thoughts and prayers for Maddie and Cooper. They'll do just fine and be so happy to see you. It's good that they are going thru it the same time as they will be quiet together. Hugs. Will be looking for an update.

| Well, I did it. I left them. I hurried to the car and just cried. I am not worried at all about the care they are receiving, I have been blessed in finding a wonderful vet's office. However, as I was picking up Cooper's paper at the counter, I saw Maddie in her kennel. She saw me too, jumped up and started barking and wagging her tail for me. That was just too much I'm a baby I know. Waiting for Cris's call to tell me they are okay. Thanks for the continuing prayers, and I will update.
