| My Sophie thrives on Wellness Small Breed kibble. I did a lot of research before I settled on Wellness and Sophie really likes it. Sugarlump-Welcome to YT

| I meant to tell you that if you call Wellness (ph# on web site) they will send you a sample bag to try for free.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | It's Holistic Select for Bridget - there is a thread that lists the dog food manufacturers that would send free samples. I wrote to them all and received a ton of samples, and several coupons from those that didn't send samples. Holistic Select is the only one that she would eat. I'm having a tough time finding it as no one around me sells it. So at $20 for a 6# bag and $9 shipping - it's a bit costly - but if she eats it that's all that matters.

The main protein in Holistic Select is Anchovy/Sardine/Salmon meal while Wellness is Turkey. These seem to be my dog's 2 favorite kibble also, both are nice and small and I have contacted the company several times for info. Holistic select says they chose those proteins because less dogs are allergic to them. I don't like the fact that wellness outsources the production of the product, but it does seem to be a quality product. I am trying to get down to a few foods and then rotate them and these 2 are high on the list. I also tried Solid Gold Wee Bit which she doesn't like as much and I am going to try Fromm grain free also. | |
