| Wellness or Nutro Natural? So i bought a HUG bag of Nutro when we first brought Seeker home. He is just starting to eat it, not digging in, but eating. I was at a family owned pet store and the woman told me that she on longer carries Nutro because of the recall a few years ago and she felt the company has declined,...that being said she carries Wellness. Her emplyee has a Pom that she just bought the puppy wellness food for and he wont eat it so they are giving me the bag for free, and i was thinking of making the switch to Wellness. What are your thoughts? |

| I switched Sydney to Wellness dry adult formula small bites and she loves it. The reason why I switched was that Wellness doesn't use Ethoxyquin in its dog food. My parents also switched their Yorkie to the same food and Ginger loves it, too. Remember to gradually switch over within a week to avoid tummy problems. Don't panic if your dog doesn't eat it right away. Leave the food out and perhaps sprinkle a few kibbles around the dish. That entices them to eat eventually. |

| DEFINITELY Wellness...Nutro wasnt only recalled but it was linked to many animals dealths. This is just what consumer affairs said...but there are ton more links on Nutro deaths. Consumer complaints about Nutro Pet Foods

| Out of those 2 I would definitely feed Wellness. I've never fed it personally but I do know that it's a very good food and it's much better than Nutro. I used to feed Nutro to Sasha when she was a puppy and a few months when she was an adult, but then I did some research after being told it wasn't a good food and switched Sasha to something different. |

| I buy Wellness for my 2 girls , small breed super 5 mix. they love it , and they are so much healthier now that i switched foods several months ago. I have heard Nutro is a bad food to feed , lots of recalls . Wellness is rated a 5 ... nearly on the top of healthiest dry foods to feed .

| Recently switched from NV to Wellness, best choice! About two months ago, I switched to Wellness Puppy Super 5 Mix and it was the best choice I've ever made in regards to dog food. My nine month old, LOVES this food, canned or kibble. Whenever its time to eat, he anxioulsy waits at his bowl. It was almost immediately that I saw a postive change in his energy level, his appetite, coat texture, less eye drainage, I could go on and on. Wellness is GREAT food! |

| Oh my goodness, i'm sick to my stomach, just sick. I bought my minnie some nutra because that's what the lady at pet smart said was the best for my Minnie because I was waiting for my life's abundance to come and wanted to get her to eat dog food because my vet was making me feel guilty and telling me how bad it is to feed my minnie the fresh plain chicken breast that i was cooking for her with her nutra cal. I fed her two servings of the Nutra wet food, one chicken and one beef with litterally ten kibbles and she ate it. Well my life's abundance came today and minnie wouldn't eat it, or the grilled chicken. Now i'm reading this about the Nutra. I guess I got confused because of the name and thought it was the same company of the Nutra Cal, I can't sleep. Minnie was very active today just not hungry. I don't know what to do anymore with her. Does anyone make their meals for their dog homemade? I really think my Minnie would eat it. Help this is crazy |

| Our furbabies have been doing great on Wellness. One awesome thing is that their poop doesn't smell too bad. Pam |

| I don't fix homemade meals, but one trick might be mixing a tiny bit of rice with her new food Life's Abundance. It worked for my mom and dad's Yorkie Ginger. And she's picky. Quote:
