| Rachel, I don't know what the answer is but can you try calling the er vet and ask that? I know that my er facility will answer questions over the phone. Good luck.

| Clavamox is just an oral antibiotic, so I cannot think of a reason why not. Just be sure the benedryl does not have the sweetener in it that dogs cannot take. Stuff like xylitol. Do you know the amount to give? Where is he itching or is it she?

| Used to treat allergies, itching etc. 1/2 mg per lb. weight of dog. Every 8 hrs. YORKIE: 1/4 to 1/2 tablet, one hr. on empty stomach.

| I would call ER they will help you out as i have done that in the past. Has your dog been on benedryl before? It amps up some dogs and sedates some dogs just in case you see either of these symptoms you are aware of it Why does your dog need the benedryl? Is your dog having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic? |

| It would be fine to give together. The two medications don't interact.
