| yellow breast discharge yikes My baby hasnt been neutered/spayed yet where in the process of getting that done soon..but I have noticed today when I was giving her, her daily belly rub that she was leaking some yellow discharge out of one of her breast is that normal/unnormal she hasnt been around males dogs to my knowledge(my mom takes her when I work) but I'm pretty sure that my mom is careful not to have her around male dog because neither one of us want her pergnant. I have called the vet but they are out of the office for some strange reason today (of course when I need help) but before I go hunting down every vet in the area, maybe I can get a lil help/reassurance from you guys before I go vet hunting lol......Thanks in advance

| How old is she? Has she ever been in heat? Has she scratched herself? Wow - I really don't know what it could be other than some kind of infection - so it's good that you're going to get her into the vet. Maybe you could post a picture. It might help if someone could see it. Hope you find out what it is and that it's not anything serious.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Are you certain she's not pregnant? Did she recently go thru a heat cycle? She could be having a false pregnancy. Yellow discharge can also be a sympton of a mammary gland infection. She needs to be seen by a vet.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm hoping a breeder will see this, sound like it could mean possible pregnancy, it sounds like it could be hormone related. I'd take he to the vet, and have her spayed immediately. If she's been with another dog, you have no idea what kind and how large, which could endanger her health. If your mother just leaves the little girl outside to go potty, there's a chance pregnancy can occur. It really does only take a moment. Either way, your girl should be checked by a vet. Hope all goes well.

| Phew she's having a false pregnancy. They checked to see if there was a fetus and there is NONE. (Praise Him) Now heres comes the nervousness (on my end of course) we set up an appointment to get her spayed next week...Im so afraid for her but its the best thing to do esp since I have NO clue on breeding and DEFINATELY DONT want to breed her....Thanks for all the advice and concern. now be prepared for me to be "wigging" out when she gets spayed..I'm gonna be more frightened then her
