| New methods to treating and fixing LP!! Working for a vet's office is so wonderful! We have a lady that comes in to do chiropractic med. for pets. she has done an amazing job on Sadie's LP and says that she can help to heal Sadie's knee up for good in only three sessions. Each session is only 70 which still saves a ton of money in terms of this verses 1400 LP surgery which no one wants to have to go through anyways.... her name is Kristine Strouf and she works for Healing Well Chiropractic and the method is called Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation VOM It was developed by Wm. L. Inman. Please look into this in your area. it would save us all a whole lot of money!! |

| Is there any research to what this chiropractor is doing for LP and how was she trained in these techniques. I am very interested as well.

| Something like this may be beneficial for low grade LP that wouldnt have needed surgery anyway... but if the groove is very shallow or it is a high grade LP... I cant imagine this will replace surgery.

| i believe if the knee is luxated out of place and not able to slip back in anymore this would be obsolete, but for those that do slip back into place this helps to heal the muscles that are strained and stretched around the knee and relaxes them so they are able to heal and stop pulling on the knee. i will scan in everything i have on it soon!! also, it is not painful, she used all tools on my arm before using them on Sadie so i would know exactly what she felt. it was light as a butterfly and barely felt. i'll also keep researching this for us. it's an amazing new thing and it actually can heal and help with MANY other issues. read this: Veterinary Chiropractic, Animal Chiropractic, Veterinary Cold Laser Therapy |

| I actually have a dr on the list for my area. that I have heard VERY good holistic things about. I'm going to call her and ask some questions. Madison has one back knee that the LP is out continually the vet said. The vet also said that she couldn't pop it back in. where the other back knee lp's but she could pop it back in. So it would be nice to get a second opinion. Especially with someone experienced in V.O.M. |
