| Yorkie food and treats recommendations-HELP Please help, over the years my pups (7 yrs old and 4yrs old) have been on Eukanuba, Pro(something), Beneful, soft food, solid gold and I am now trying wellness. I mixed it so they can try to get use to it, now their stool changes or they just won't eat. The other foods, they wouldn't touch for days so i gave it away. I wound up having to give soft food to make them eat. What is highly recommended for yorkies, because I'm at the end of the food chain now. I also need a good treat recommendation that didn't change your dogs stool or make them stopped up. HELP!

| I feed natural balance. The potato and duck dry, the potato and duck roll and natural balance treats only. I used wellness for al while and she loved it,but my Maltese has allergies, so we had to change. Mine both love the new food. You can grate up the roll and sprinkle it in the dry, they love it. |

| There are so many foods out there and it really is personal preference. But on the topic of treats I will say, that you want something small... I like Yorkie Yummies: FoxyPups - Yorkie Yummies - Yorkie treats Treats from Here: wwwwebstartscomFurBabiesPetPlace especially the banana, sweet potato, and pumpkin drops. I also like Zukes which you can find at Petco.

| I personally feed Acana (grain-free line) and rotate between the Grasslands flavor and Prairie Harvest flavor, since he tends to get bored w/ food. He's very very very picky and he seems to love this food. He also really liked Nature's Variety Instinct and Fromm, which I've heard both are good for picky eaters. I still mix in a bit of wet food for Jackson though sometimes. Food is all a matter of preference and just find the one that works for your pup! Alot of us really Acana, it's made by Champion Pet Foods. About 34% protein (I think) and around 17% fat. He poops usually 2x a day and it's almost always firm and small poopies! Merrick's foods can be good for picky eaters too because the dry kibble, when a bit of water is put on it, turns into a gravy-like texture so they like it more. As for treats... Jackson is picky and won't eat any biscuit hard type treat. He loves Zuke's Mini's (Petco) they are really small (size of an eraser) and soft and meaty. Wellness jerky treats are also good, they come in squares.
