| Nature's Variety vs. Innova I have been feeding Innova for years and my dogs do wonderfully. They have recently been bought out by Proctor and Gamble and I am sure that the quality will drop in a couple years. I am considering changing their food before they suffer from this potential hazard. Does anyone have an opinion on Nature's Variety, or is there another that you prefer? Any downfalls of Nature's Variety Prarie (kibble and canned as my dogs do not like raw)? |

| My dogs do great on NV Prairie, raw and kibble. Even my picky Maltese (and I mean PICKY) likes the kibble, but she actually begs for the raw.

| I've only fed NV Instinct, their grain free line, and I think it's an excellent food. Because I do like to rotate foods, I searched for other good brands of healthy food. I've recently started feeding Acana, which is a grain free line of food made by the same company that makes Orijen, and I really love this food as well.

Ditto. I also fed NV Instinct for around 8 months and never had any issues with it. It was the 1st food Jackson really loved eating. We are also now on Acana and rotate between Grasslands and Prairie formulas and we love it!

| My dogs love the NV Prairie line. Getting ready to rotate to NV Prairie Chicke this week as the Acana Prairie bag is almost gone. My Max always had soft stools on Innova so... not an Innova fan.

| We fed NV Prairie & NV homestyle canned for a year. We rotated the formulas each time and we did great with it for a year. It's small kibble & no problems at all with it. Unfortunately, they started getting bored & stopped eating it as well. So we just recently switched to Fromm. They have different formulas like NV, which is something I really like!

| Does the NV Instinct or Prairie have a puppy line (kibble or canned) food? I can't find a puppy kibble or canned food for NV and I also can't find a good canned or kibble food that my girl will eat. I've tried about 4 different types of food (By Nature Puppy, Artemis Small Breed for Puppies, Innova Puppy, and RC Puppy) and my girl is not fond of any of them. Maybe she just hates kibble and canned food? I've tried home cooking as well and she will eat what I make her a few times then turns her nose up at it the 3rd time around at anything (chicken, beef, whatever it is). She's is so picky that I'm going to try raw now, but I'd like to find a good kibble and/or canned food too for backup if the raw doesn't work. Argh I'm so frustrated!
